got the mini home yesterday, many thanks to wolfie for helping me out there.
still cant find any rust! no bad for £650! brakes work fine as do all electrics and engine with some fresh fuel. Will check ball joints, bushes seatbelts etc etc before booking an MOT, then sort the brakes out.

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

That looks a cracker!

Lose those arches (and ideally the stripes) and dont change the appearance at all, maybe some 10x4.5" wheels if you have to

I always really liked carls clubman when it was in that spec

Friggin hell mate, 650 is a bargain. Not a spot of rust in the engine bay is there.

Diferrant wheels and interior (Looks like a colour off steptoe and son) would be nice touch. Probably get em cheap.

Done a bit to the min lately. Put new shocks and wiper blades on, and it sailed through the MOT with nothing but advise on a steering column bush! Drives fine on the road, but drums are a bit scary, but that's changing now

7.5" discs, alloy 4 pots. New hubs, ball joints, bearings cv joints aswell

Next thing is, what colour do I paint my engine? Would like BL green, but I'm not sure if it would look any good with the blue car and blue hoses. Has anyone hot any pics of a blue engine?

I'll have a look for some pics.

The boring bloke who runs this place.

Those starions are rapid - one of my mates has one and it keeps up with our impreza. Can't see you beating it, but you'll have the moral victory!

hopefully about 150-160ish. I have a feeling the limiting factor will be the standard R5 T2, but it'll be interesting to see what it will do
