That's the hole size, plenty of movement.

EDIT: The official guidance states 14.0 +/- 0.1 mm. So I'm a bit tight on mine.

I drilled my original one 14mm, the drill i used came up a little small IIRC the hole was somthing like 13.95...

i always need a bit of lube to get them in so they are nice and snug.

late reply, thank you for the info. im coming to that time in my build when i need to start fabricating the parts to weld up.

i ended up buying a set of injector bungs, but im moving onto the fuel rail side of things now.

I was wondering if the rail dimensions would be correct.

25mm OD 19mm ID (equates roughly to dash 8). The injector bungs are from ross machine. and they have a 12.7mm bore on them on the end that i cut, so im guessing i just drill a hole into the fuel rail the same basic size? or should it be smaller? Cheers Johnny.

Somewhere around Swindon

if you fancy splashing some cash you can buy a special drill bit for injectors

Nice tool wolfie, pricey though.

You can drill the fuel rail a bit smaller as it does not have to clear the spray. 8mm would be fine, then 14mm counterbore for the injector.
