so they have, when i fitted mine i thought the pad spring needed a bit more clearance, I guess they thought so too....

yes i noticed the spring on mine was worn away a bit (they were second hand)

Si p Got handbrake cables done at speedy cables 01639 732213 , just sent the old ones with a quick diagram and hey presto , they made me an extra long throttle cable aswell.

Cheers Rick - need one making up for my rear beam set-up. Minispares don't tell you that when you buy their alloy beam. I think it was originally made for the use of the older twin cable set-up.

Might also get a throttle cable at the same time.

Here we go , bit of an update.

Got new pedals sorted, just need to sort what size master cylinder i need now.

Got my rear anti roll bar sorted

Oil cooler and pipes sorted

Coil pack mounted

Battery and box fitted.

Thanks lads, its slowly getting closer, thing is ive got the seat pedals, steering wheel and harnesses in now so i was sat in it the other night pretending to be driving it (how sad).
Hopfully going to avon will inspire me more aswell.

ive been at that stage for about a year lol, one day...

Right a bit of progress again.

I kept doing bits to the car but i didnt seam to change so ive got to a point now where ive booked a few days off work and started to strip it to paint.

Sitll got the ally work to finish around the pedal box and finish welding brackets and things, tbh some of the other ally work isnt finished properly but i was dying to do somthing that would make a change to it.
I should have some more updates more often now, we'l see.

Thing is where do you stop jim.

Idealy yes it should of been changed. but the brief was to make a frame with mini suspension setting and wheel base so in theory it will drive just like a mini.

Looking really good so far. Do you know what the weight is so far.

Your soo right, ive been looking into a nice k head turbo conversion, double adjustable shocks and fiberglass shell with big fat sticky tyres.

Not sure on weight, it weighed 420 when it was frame, shell all running gear and engine, extras now are intercooler ,exhaust and all other bits including ally panneling.

that is an absolute work of art, i like the top arms on the front suspension aswell are they modified lower arms flipped over? never seen it done before
