What a crock of shit this post turned into. Maybe in several years time, when MAGA&INE hits the shelves, we'll all be proven wrong.

Well Tom, lets set the record straight them shall we? 1. For the record, I left because I could not have myself or my company associated with racist and increasingly abusive threads that usually had you posting in it. Minisprocket also left for the same reasons I believe. There was nothing else to it. I had complaints from advertisers about the way the forum portrayed certain companies and their staff as well. Just look how few industry professionals post now - none.... 2. I can not post pictures intended for publication and claim any form of copyright for them. I can not make that any clearer. I was clear that the manifold was made by another, (very helpful and also sadly left the site), member of TM. 3. The person in question, I won't mention their name, but he knows who he is, never actually FINISHED any articles. The only work I ever had off that site member was 6 months too late and not good enough quality for our high standards. Remember, unlike other publications, work here is subjected to a fearsome review panel of industry professionals and BS and half truths are not tollerated. Sour grapes and excuses won't cut it I'm afraid. It's hard to find your work rejected but not everyone is cut out to be a writer. Sorry. Some people can't handle the rejection and go off on one. Sad, but it's quite common. To be clear, Matts photography is not included in the above comment and is in fact going in the first issue. First rate work in fact. 4. As you have openly published libel on this forum, I require your address, my appointed solicitors have drafted a letter for you. Or you can remove the comment and appologise. The final option is that you provide proof of your accusations, which will be amusing as I'm looking at the raw data now. I don't mind either way, it really depends on how deep your pockets are. 5. All my friends on the forum and in the business know that the magazine was delayed due to my fathers death. I looked after him for the last 7 months of his life last year. This seemed slightly more important than anything else at the time. I deeply resent the way this forum has been hijacked by a tiny minority of people who insist on slagging off other people or being vindictive. Bearing in mind you hand out vast amounts of information and dont even own a running car, well, lets just say you amuse us all. I have personally put a large amount of money into the MS efi project and supported the workers on these projects and been a sponsor of this forum. Some thanks then to find this drivel constantly posted. I will be checking back on the site now and then to ensure that no more such drivel is posted. If it is then I will have to take further legal action to protect my interests so please, just get on with enjoying Minis and cut the bitching. I'm sorry that it has come to this for the sake of the vast majority of sensible users. I would have thought you would be bored of the subject several months on but as you insist on behaving like an idiot, you will leave me no choice. My best wishes to the vast majority of the club members and I hope to see you all at the usual shows this year with the MAGA7INE turbo mini. Regards Peter Edit: This link is (I believe) interesting reading. http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=172936 Edited by TurboDave16V on 22nd Aug, 2007. This is a magazine aimed at the type of people that frequent this forum. What better way to promote the mag than putting up a few teasers of what is going to be in it? Indeed. And what better way of ensuring that no-one will buy it. It certainly ain't on my Christmas list. Of course - this is a convenient reason for deciding *not* to publish it *if* we never see it... can you be sued for calling someone a massive stiffy? Actually Joe - I think you can. But if the person is "a massive stiffy" or has been acting in a manner that suggests he is indeed trying to be "a massive stiffy" then they won't get far in court. I think you're safe. Most that'll happen is a comedy "Decease and disist" order being placed on you. On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

Alex is liable personally. I have no wish to involve him at this stage and if this is an end to the silly comments, then I couldn't care less. If it carries on, then the people concerned are putting Alex in a difficult position. I'm afraid that is not how it works, Peter. I'm sure your solicitor can advise. |

So what worked out better the KC500 or the 255? I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
