you've got pm there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

If you can get the compression down given their smaller dish I would use them, they certainly look sturdy. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

I would imagine that they are comparable to 21253's. Do they have oil slots or holes chris? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Just checked the pistons and they have four holes either side of the gudgeon pin. Rings seam to be a bit hard to find though, what are peoples thoughts on reusing rings, the rings are only 5000 miles old. 1972 998 TURBO SLEEPER |

What I have found is that on some applications the same ring is used across multiple pistons, for example you may find that the compression and scraper rings are exactly the same on a +20 and +40 piston

The oil rings in the hastings set I had received are spot on.

well I had to match rings from different sets to fit the ring grooves if they match they match. if the profiles match they match.
