It was drawn up and cut on the water jet, it was the 2nd set as the first set just did not look, fit right.

It was done at a mates place, he does cages but this was his first mini. So I helped as it was getting done to point out some stuff that was a little different to the norm.

He has asked me not post a link on here at the min, as the last time his number went on a forum his phone did not stop ringing with blokes asking daft questions. That said he's happy to book lads in on his waiting list.

Price wise it was very very good bang for the buck in my eyes.

Don't suppose you remember where you got this loom grommet from do you? i'm guessing it is a grommet rather than a multiway panel connector

Is there any progress you can share?

Did you machine your titanium bolts/nuts yourself? I need to source some specific bolts for my wheels.

Well a sort of big update,,

It's been a wile sense my last up date. I have got my self a house and had to grow up a bit.

But the mk1 is in paint 😜

So now I have a place I thought I best keep myself busy, this got me thinking I would love a workshop! However with with a very tight budget, 90% of the stuff have been deals off eBay or gumtree and I think I will be on for keeping it on target 👍

So this happened.

Some deal making was made for how much of the back garden I could have.

Next I had to make some access to the back.

Next the digging started 😀

Some more digging

Then it was to full them back in.

Had to jump through some hoops with building control mate, as it's all sand where I am, plus with the size it needs all this stuff.

Wow. I had to punch myself as I'm doing something similar with my back garden. IE losing most of it. Although as I haven't got quite as far as you, I'm having second thoughts about the size!

Nice sized space - I'm very interested in this as I too hope to be doing something similar soon.
Is it self build or do you have a builder in? Is it going to be block work all the way up?

It's 6x7m I have been doing most of the work my self to keep cost down, I have a bricky in helping from here on.

It will be red brick facing the house and block at the back and sides this will end up rendered in time.

Here's a little update on the workshop,

This was a pic from yesterday, there are two more courses of blocks done today, and the red brick is up 9 more at the front.
