Cheers guys.

Strugeo - I used 2k, it surprisingly easy to get a good finish. I had a few problems doing the underside as I was using a suction type gun, and they don't like being turned on there side. *oh well*

Good stuff man, just look into the harness angle, mine is the same at the moment in my roadie, but i had a minor moment in my track day and felt some compression on my back.
i put it down to this, and my shoulder height where the harness comes through the seat.
Im not being negetive, i think its a great build.

The next job is drilling out the snapped bolt in the heel board! You can see it in the second pic.

A bit more progress made over the past few weeks. Ive got the raduis arms built up and fitted my new hubs. :)

And yes I did get a bit excited when I opened the box with my hubs in! *hehe!*

Then modified my shuddersfield beam so the exhaust can sit in its normal location. Its pretty much ready for bolting on now!

How much does the rear beam weigh? I'm trying to decide whether to use my cut down rear subframe, which lost 10kgs off standard, or go for something lighter.

I really like this car by the way. :)

Haha, you can feel the weight difference! :)

I can't decide whether to go for billet radius arms, buy a lathe or save my money for mapping and making the engine better...decisions decisions!

Oh yeah spot the flimsy, L shape bracket to hold the raduis arms on!!! *surprised*

Im going to take Johnk's advice and triangulate (is that a word) them.

A few more progress pics...After everything is back on im quite happy that I can now pick the back end of the car up, especially as I struggled to raise the suspension before! *happy*

Strengthened the L shaped brackets....

Beam fitted back on...

Looks abit odd without a rear valance! I need to try and make my diffuser fill the space but at the same time not look too fast and furious...any ideas?

I totally agree its so dark when i get home these days, I have to strip the front of mine down, make a few alterations, have the front end touched up, roof painted. Then i need to strip the rear down, do basically what you have done, then im going to try and tidy up the spagetti junction behind my dash!

Haha, I sorted my spagetti junction out last year! *happy* The engines coming out next.

Ive just done some rough calcs...using 10kgs (estimate) as the weight saved from fitting the beam and not counting the battery box and rear valance, the weight comes in at 529kgs...111kgs lighter than when I ran my sigged 1/4! *surprised* VVVVVV

It was only an estimate...the scales will prove me wrong. lol

Because it used to be in full road car trim 640kgs, I used have all the mod cons like reclining seats, stereo, heater, carpets, sound deadening, and windows that opened. lol

Now it is painfull to drive, damaging to my health, and on hot days its like sitting in a green house...but I can pick the back up now so it makes it all worth while. *happy*
