Nope, no updates, just need to sell the POS jap car thats skinted me over the last 6+ months!

Looking through and i havent done any work on this thing for 7 months. Thats bad!

Once i have sold the jap wagon that will free up some money to get things moving on this.

Haha, well almost 12 months on i went out today and had a little play. Need to get a grinder from work as mine mysteriously packed up. I can only presume from underusage?!

Once i've got a few tools i can finish off the cage. Then we shall see where this project goes next.

I want to finish the cage and protect it with some paint before i decide how things are going to play out as i may well be moving to NZ for a while.

Im now fully qualified as a mechanic and still earning shit money, working a stupid amount of hours a week (im sure if i sat down and worked it out it would be less than min wage), and my sis that lives in NZ has had a nipper so i think its about time to pack up what little i have in this country and go see my niece.

Right, so, i'm back. Kinda.

Sold the jap wagon a long time ago now and just been going round in a works diesel astra for far too long.

Became fully qualified as a Light vehicle mechanic and was still getting paid feck all so decided i needed to leave that place. Thought screw it, i'll go away for abit.

Went over to Ayia Napa to work for the summer, but had too much fun for the month that i was there that i didnt work and spent all the money that i had in my bank to cover my outgoings for the summer. Oops.

Now i'm back home with absolutely zero money and no job, getting very bored. Keep looking at the mini and thinking about what I can do to it that isnt going to cost me anything. Not much but there is a few bits.

So while i'm job hunting i will be doing a few little bits and posting pictures, then when ive got a full time job again i will properly crack on and get this finished.

And i think i've got a new direction for this project.

I didn't even know this existed, its awesome, love the roll cage. Interested to see what else you have planned. Also noticed your local to me. :)

Ahhh indeed i am! What are you building? I could do with getting back into going to a few shows once i'm employed again. Nothing like a show, or someone local to motivate you!

There you go mate, not much of a thread at the moment, its going to be similar to yours just not as extreme. And trust me i need the motivation as much as you do!

Unfortuantely not mate. I've not really had any time or money recently due to a few different thing. All of with are just stupid things, nothing serious.

I'm quite settled in my new job now and i really want to push on with this again! Problem is i've been working in Indonesia for the past month!

Hardly a problem really! Earning plenty of overtime and spending absolutely nothing so i will be able to get alot of my loans payed off and start seriously thinking about spending some hard earned on this again!

Plus im now out of my trial period so i get a bump in normal wages!

Big push on this at the start of next year is the plan!
