I would knock it back to one squirt simultaneous, just to simplify things for now.

I have found that sometimes Megatune does not halve the fueling when you double the squirts. More often operator error because I forget to re-calc the Req Fuel after changing the squirts.

You should see the pulse width stay the same.

Odd.

Have you got a TPS connected up and calibrated?

Have you got the coolant and air sensors connected and reading correctly?

They should both read ambient when cold.

You dont mean PWM do you. With your injectors you should be setting the PWM settings high to prevent it from working.

I assume you mean pw, pulse width.

Something is wrong here.

How did you create your .msq file?

You should always start with a new .msq when you change the software version.

Did you just use a previous .msq instead of starting from fresh when you up-graded to MS2/Extra V2?

yes i meant pulswidth,

now you mention it the sensors are reading high, i have now reset them and they are reading even higher, where does the bias resistor value come from, i can find no mention of it in the manuals,

TBH i cant remember how i created the .msq.

I think the next step is to reflash the code and recreate the .msq *oh well*

Your problem could be the .msq file then. I think that the only way you would get a 33ms pulse is if something was wrong with the software rather than the settings.

I'm lost for answers otherwise.

So re-flash the code, download the .msq from the ECU and then enter your settings etc.

Good luck.

Well done.

Are you running a direct drive coilpack or EDIS?

direct.

after a few bootfuls it cleared and came in on all 4.
only really runs clean from 2k up, but it runs!

i think my timing marks might be out as it starts running ok once some advance kicks in. unfortunatly i have no way of accuatly checking them.

Great.

A bit of trial and error will sort the timing.

Have you got a wideband to help with the fueling?

unfortunatly with the 7 port the plug is at an angle that makes it dificult to get an acurate gauge of tdc.

Paul, yes I have an LC1 to go on, didnt put it on yet incase i posioned it while getting it running.

Cheers for all the support guys! especially you Paul*smiley*

That great that you've got it running!

What was the problem in the end stopping it running?

Fuck knows!

somthing screwy with the code i guess, although it was injecting fuel i think it was not injecting what it thought it was... or somthing.

Always the way! Lol

Can you run closed loop? If so you should have it drivable in no time!

Once I fixed on my teething probs mine probably took about 2 hours of driving to have the lower end of the map sorted!

You had time to film that! I thought it was an outburst of rage, but it seems planned now.

I bet it was all just a cheap trick to get the day off and get the car started eh?

It's all making sense now.
