you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

This is very interesting as i was watching the last 5 or so runs of your 26,000 runs.. and it was frustrating watching any kind of wheelspin with fingers crossed for a new pb! Seeing this vid shows a different animal to what i was watching! That launch looked instant!!! I wish i could hear your start over the other minis noise to analyse it

As it seems to have been the swan song for the car in this configuration where did you end up as far as weight and power for your PB 13 / 115 runs

Cheers

Well I had a look at it yesterday, on some bathroom scales and it was 559kg power was the same, as always, but I was running around the 25psi of boost mark.

This was yesterdays work, I had to end early as I had to go and see a man about a dog.

It was a full car at 09.24

then this fell out

then it was a shell by 15.43 so not bad as it just seemed to fight all the way.

then I started the stripping the stone chip and to see if i really have two boot floors, I found 3 colours in there,

Fair play mate you don't fuck about.

Would it not be worth having the shell dipped/media blasted to get all the paint off then you can see what you really have?

I looked at dipping and I found very mixed reviews on it, then blasting I did not I want to take the risk, I know I am most likely being a fanny, but I have some very high power paint stripper here it lifts the paint right off in 30 mins,, so I plan to do the hole shell by the end of the week so then I have some control over it, and I am not really relaying on anyone.

I know it needs some new pannels I have them good to go, but I want to give it to my mate in the best possible shape I can.

Nice going... did you actually put it on 4 bathroom scales!!?

And i thought you started with a bare shell? Could you not see then if it had weird repairs like 2 boot floors?

i would definitely have blasted it for the time saving , what the worst you could find , car lightening holes ?

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

I know what your saying about time saved, but it would be a lot more of a ball beaker for me, as i am back to work on the 30th and then going away on the 12th again, so I am happy to put the hrs in on gettting it sorted my self before I go and also saving the £800 min for blasting and £1400 min for dipping.

so a £29 tube of stripper works for me *smiley*

That's cheaper stripper! Careful you don't get it on your skin you don't want a rash.

Yes Dave I did *smiley*

As for the shell I give it to someone to replace the bits that needed and give him a new floor for the car and the boot but looks I only got part of it !!!
