I know what you mean Jimbo. I went to an RAF MSA sprint day and had such a laugh! So much more fun than 15 seconds of straight lining. I has been suggested to me that we should get a TM forum track day/sprint organised. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I think that this is more than possible. The Auto 66 club are very accomodating to th 16V mini club, allowing them to run in sports libra with all kind of crazy engines. I'm sure everyone one here could get a similar entry. The problem with an official sprint/hillclimb is that you will all need licences, clubmembership, approved overalls and approved helmets. All this could easily add up to £500 befor you have even paid for your entry. p.s. I hope you all have a great day, sad I can't be there but it's the village beer festival and I'll be pulling behind the bar. On 29th Sep, 2011 John said: I know what you mean Jimbo. The one we did wasn't a proper regulated day, just a laugh so no MSA regs or anything. Just sensible things like helmets and flame retardant overalls. Seemed like it was ran with a healthy dose of common sense. Me and John where asked to join the RAF MSA, which I'm considering for next year (with a finished mini lol). On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
