so close - looking good buddy, make sure the boost valve is shut off when you take it for the first few runs! then only increase in quarter turns..

On that controller clockwise increases boost, so unscrew all the way to start with.

Craig, you really need your boost tap inside of the car, so that you can adjust it while you drive, some times you want boost and some times you don't.. Alan Main Build

So it was pissing it down ALL DAY, finally got a few hours in at 5ish and got the air filter on finally, boost piping on finally, swapped the fuel feed on the carb to the correct point and then got the grill on finally as well as changing the battery positive terminal as the old one was split. I also made a final to-do list and here are the pictures:
