Cheers guys, the comments make all the hardwork worthwhile!

Redrat, the cable arm isn't hard it's just abit fiddely, make sure you cut the slot straight then you need to make some spacers up to fit the hole etc to take a pin to go through the slave rod.

It's a had quick shift with lift collar reverse

Been doing little jobs I left, instead of a headunit I've fit an amp under the passenger seat which via phono cables and a nifty 3.5mm jack input panel (with volume wheel) you can plug your mp3 or phone straight into the amp.

Switch panel to take 12v charging point, on off switch for the amp and the 3.5mm input panel

Bit of a crappy pic but it sits next to the handbrake

Led interior light... Bit chavy maybe

I didn't like the plastic on my new ignition key so thought I'd give it a turbo theme...

New exhaust is next!

I bought

2x http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360947677257

1x
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370783456420

You could just put that into a MP3 player but I cut the end male 3.5mm jack off and joined the matching left and right wires together and wired it into the volume panel.

The jack has a permanent 12v supply coming off via a switch into the rem

That's pretty much it? I'm crap at wiring and managed to make it work lol

It's made out of 3 layers. The middle has a cut out which fits the Key then the other two sand which the key. The edge is then seam welded and ground smooth then polished :)

I drove this today.

It's really very good indeed. A real credit to Dave and his skills. So well finished and put together.

Thanks Dave!

You find your oil was getting hot?

I was worried that the cooler would get damaged mounted that low? I went higher up but packaging anything in an mini engine bay is a PITA

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Cheers

It's not ideal but it's the neatest place for it, and not really anywhere else it could have gone.

It sits directly behind the number plate so unless I drive into a high curb it should be safe. time will tell!

What temps were you getting too before and after? Im looking into fitting one cos it can get up to 110/120 when giving it some on a run, normally 90.. but it takes a while to get up to temp anyway so dont wanna fit one and it takes even longer

I've got it plumbed through a thermostat so it doesn't really effect warm up time.

Mine would sit around 80-90 with normal driving but I saw 120-130 when cruising fast on the motorway at the end of last year so that's when I need it. I haven't done a long enough drive yet so will keep this updated!

Without looking back through the thread, its not clear exactly how the cooler is mounted but it does look likr you could do with rubber mounting it

Car is looking good though
