Well funny you should ask... *wink*

After a tip to the minisport stand and looking at their short oil filter, a keen eye sprocket and I realised that the so called mpi filters actually had the wrong thread and they looked like they would fit a standard filter housing. We borrowed one from minisport and proved they would fit the standard filter head.
we got Some worried looks from the minisport reps as they realised they had purchased a shed load of the wrong stock.. We did help out by purchasing everything they had on the table..

The plan is to swap the filters more often. Pic below for anyone needing something similar

Looking at the discs, I'm not sure they are worth the extra cash if you can get hold of some std and cut them down. In fact they are crude it the way they have been reduced in size...

So a set of 7.9" 4 pots and some minted pads and a credit card bill you want to hide from....

What pad compound?

that'll be the 1144 compound. KAD don't sell any other compound in Mintex.

Judging by the write up KAD give the Green Stuff, they only sell them to satisfy fashionable popularity lol

Nor could we it even smells the same (every sweet). on a closer look you can see where the stickers have been removed! so not exactly a "home brew"

Its not as described... the smell was bang on the same... the bottles and tops were also the same... RAT BASTARDS!

on another note... the wide band is now working and there is a small amount of closed loop control. I seems nice and smooth and pulls well, the drivability is good it pulls hard from lower down.. and it would pass an MOT so maybe much better fuel on a long motorway run...

That's scary, I would not want to be putting that through my engine, surely that can't be good?
