Nice spotlights. I was going to buy the exact same, but the sealed beams put me off. I settled on a pair of Hella comet 500's in the end.

To be honest, they're not yellowy at all, they're a nice crisp white light and the bulbs wre changeable, that's if you can still buy them new i guess, or nos

I was a bit worried about them being pants but they are better than the cheapy wipacs I had last winter. I think they must have been NOS because they are almost mint . They aren't a permanent thing though because as much as I love them, they still don't suit my car :(

Ya nearly had that car that pulled out haha, look forward to more footage against other cars so i can get a feel for the acceleration n speed it has.. it does look a nice amount of boost n acceleration from that lil vid, how does it compare to before as n/a

It's like having a nice sensible stage 1 998 off boost, and then it transforms into a mildly tuned 1275 but with a nice midrange pull thats just drags you uphill no matter the gradient with ease. For those of you one of us has on facebook there's some cheeky footage of me playing around against a 12 plate 2.0 tdi A3 which is around the 140ish hp mark I think

Off boost up to about 35mph it's just like driving it before exept with a lot more pull which is what I wanted really. I've only been over 5psi once (on the motorway) because I haven't needed it just to drive around town and stuff because this is just my every day only car. I do already miss revving it like crazy though! Boost comes in quite low in the revs (I don't know where exactly because I don't have a rev counter and honestly don't know what 2000rpm sounds like!) so you get it when you need it. If anyone ever wanted a modern car but couldn't part with their mini this would be a great option because it's such a pleasure, it's done well on fuel apart from the leak and hopefully will be reliable but at the same time you still get the rubbish wipers, misty windows and puddles by the pedals . If I get a chance and it's dry Saturday morning I'll take it down some windy long 60mph roads

Haha it's naughty. There's a bit of wheel spin at the start too! I can not stress enough, I do not drive it anything like this! Please ignore my annoying voice :(

I picked up some original D1s on Sunday, £30 for 5, I couldn't say no! Even if they are in need of work. I managed to beat the dark and tried them on

Ah that's gutting, I like unusual wheels! I've wanted some D1s for a loooong time but I don't think they will go on this old boy due to too much poke :( it's still on the jack here because the tyre is pretty flat haha! But sitting on the floor I think the tyres will just be too far out :( they would be perfect on the back with the drums!
