Hi Wile E. Coyote
The paint is 2k

I use the clear plastic tube for round all the pipes from BQ

The jig is from ebay and yes mate it was not nice all I could think was how much work I would have to do if it landed on the roof lol

What type of paint have you sprayed it with ?

P.S. Did you put that rubber hose pipe over the Fuel/Brake pipes to protect them where the clips are ?

P.P.S I want that jig to do mine ! Do you mind me asking where you got it from ? bet it was nerve racking rolling it over for the first time

Put you link below, we bought it in kit form and aft to say there's all the welding to do, a lot of work in setting it all up, not for the faint hearted a good days work I would say, don't think you save a lot of money either by buying it kit form..

Been working on the tank, I'm going to put the pump in the tank and some baffles in there

here's where I started

going take the sender from this old tank and fit it into mine to get the wires out of the tank from the pump

removed the bracket to hold the sender in

putting some baffles in to try stop the pump running dry on cornering

put baffles both sides of where the pump is going to sit and kept them tight to hold the fuel for longer in this area

here's where the pump is going to sit

the modified fuel sender

got the bracket spot welded in place and hole cut into the tank

the copper pipe in the bottom is the return fuel pipe which is going right in under the fuel pickup to help keep the pump fueled

wires crimped to the pump and feed pipe in place

the return going back into the tank

going on is the lid that I can remove if the pump wants replacing

There you going a small update

Got the all painted now and ready to fit.

The rear brakes are nearly finished all part from a adjustable brake valve which I've decided under the back some where near the tee peace
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320848521564?ssP...49#ht_502wt_698

Turned the van over and took the filler neck out of the side, going to see if I can have it chromed

It was powder coated so I've burnt all the coating off and going to nip it tomorrow if I have time.

It looks like what was a few upgrades as turned into a full rebuild of the car. The next thing is I'm going to build a new wiring loom.

Nice job on the tank - what is the pump off?

Looking good Craig., I got my engine in last week, my bulkhead box is much bigger than yours, my actuator bracket fitted with plenty of room to spare.

Are those disks sided, as in rotational or is it just me and it doesnt matter?

Seriously looks amazing though. Love the attention to detail on all the bulkhead connectors.
