I think I'll put my name down for the next batch.
Sorry if the question has been answered (I'll have a look through the thread in a sec) but how much are the high flowing ones compared to the standard?

Scratch that, I'll just go for standard.

hello there matt ..been reading your post for a while now..i was thinking of using a t2 setup .but i was interested with your design are you still making these..if so the down pipe is it i easy thing to make up or do you do this as well.?

A T2 will work with either manifold.

I can only make up the standard type up at the moment, but I will make some more of the high flow type nearer the summer when I have more free time.

As for the donw pipes, they are quite simple in design, but at the same time very difficult to make as a universal fitment, as the tilt on the engine makes huge difference on where it sits. I have looked into making them, but still haven't come up with a solution that makes them economical to make. *oh well*

I
Axe my down pipe for t2 turbo with a blank plate bolted onto the turbine housing with a 2" choke cut over the wastegate. Then a bought a tight 90 degree 2" bend and a straight 2" pipe with an expanded end then cut off the expanded end and welded it to the tight 90. I also cut off the turbo downpipe flange and the turbo down pipe slides into the expanded section from below doing away with the flange. This then uses a standard 54mm exhaust clamp. Simples!

It was a bastard to get right however and ended up grinding a small amount from the subframe cross member where there is a flare in towards the engine sothe down pipe clears.

We'll see if it leaks soon
