Got the seats fitted, the colour match is quite good for 40 year old vinyl vs brand new. The new seat just needs abusing so it matches.

I've noticed that both my inner CV boots are now split after trying to smack them on so it needs those fixing. One step forward, two steps back! *wink*

Very nice Tom, I can't help thinking it needs a carpet though? Although that'll hide all your tidy work!

Cheers folks, it won't have a carpet as its a race car! *wink*

The inserts are the original ones but the trimmer did suggest they might break but it seems he did a good job and saved them.

That is because the regs say I have to have a full interior but not a carpet *wink*

So it is finally behaving...ish...

Took it out for a good thrash on Saturday as the weather was good and took some photos for the insurance

I'm still not happy about the brakes, they just aren't good enough but I think that is fine tuning.
Now I need to get it rolling roaded.

Thanks for all the help and advice you guys have given me, I'll still be asking loads of question *wink*

Beautiful ! Welldone on a great looking car.

Edit: Just checked out the first page of your build thread, could your brake problems not be down to the flexible hose used ? It looks like it is slightly larger bore than Ive seen used before and I had a similar problem with my brakes being very spongey after fitting long flexible hoses at the rear of my car. I reverted back to the original set-up and the brakes where spot on.

Maybe something to look into ?
