Some more mods to my gear selector to try and get a smooth change. The action was slacker than a clowns pocket, and now very smooth!

It has to the amount of play. It had 1.5mm gap between the shaft and the selector casing. You can imagine how much travel this equates to at the other end of the slector shaft!!! Fook loads!

Its been a while...bit of an update! Shit pic but you get the idea. Can't believe I didn't do it sooner, I can get to everything in the engine bay now, so repair progress should be much quicker.

Car looks awesome matt, painted interior looks very nice and clean.

I made this to suit, as mine had loads of play. It really has made the rod action smoother...such a smooth rod action, it will make the ladies go weak at the knees! On 18th Jun, 2009 Prawn said:
