Hi there,

Are there any non-MSA sprints / hillclimbs? I just seem to remember reading in the blue book that space frames / roll cages had to be CDS not ERW?

I know they aren't that fussed about road cars with a non CDS cage I just thought space frames fell into formula libre and hence CDS only?

Yes i beleve your right, but if i get a test on the mini then it will be road legal? ,thing is its still spacframed,

A grey area at the moment as i carnt seam to get a concrete answer.

Are you painting the shell the same colours as in your avatar?

Also, did you use the mk1 conversion plates on the rear, as it looks like you have from the pictures on page one, but the pressings for the lights look quite deep like the original mk1 now its in primer?

It will be porsche rivera blue with, one of the greys from inside on the top half same as the avtar, well thats unless it looks shit.

The mk1 rear lamp plates are actually from a mk1, i had an old shell i cut them from, i kind of wish id put mk2 lights in as its going to be clubman front so it would be more in keeping with how it should be

The colum is bespoke, i think the uj's are volvo?

Ive got long legs, wel supose my arms are long aswell but the wheel is close to me, its where i wanted it.

Not much of an update, got the suspension set and shell welded on now, engines back out and hopfully the new quaife diff will be fitted tomorow afternoon.
