I make big lists of what I need of what, then I just get them cheep as they come about, then when I have what I need I fit them on the car and work out the saving.

Thats little bit more done on the loom map *smiley* it's more of a tick chart, and somewhere to make notes as I go.

Yes as it's a mk1 I only have one light on the dash, this has all been done from my head so I need to sit down and look over the book and see what I have left out.

This is just me putting it down on paper before I start, as Tom has said it's best to look over it to make sure I don't forget any thing. Then I will sit and work out what size wire I need for each job. I think this will help when I start the task.

I am trying to make it as simple as I can and with small wire runs as I can.

No it looks like you have one feed to both rear lights for the indicators, shouldn't there be a left and right feed. Otherwise both indicators with flash together.

I replaced the whole back end today, but when I do the hub nut up to 81Nm they lock up! I have repacked the grease but still no joy, last they was done up slark did it. I am lost.

Anyway..
I have finished off planing the main part of the loom and dash Now and I am going to work off this and just add all the little bits in where I need them.

Ok I have some questions.
Can I use the mini relays for all my needs?
Also can I use mini fuses for everything?

I see you have a reley for the head lights, would it be against your religion to use the big pink relay off a later mini for the lights and flash.

Pink! That's Tazs car your thinking of lol.

It was a bit of an admin day today, as it felt like there was 10kgs of swarf on every thing in the cave, so I had a good clean and a tool check, ready for the next Evolution.

So as I got cleaned faster than I thought , I started striping all the wire out of the car it all added up to 9.75kgs of shit in there.

No going back now !

Fair well old dash you have served me well!
