I don't understand why there is no actual weight for this car posted on here. Perhaps because it is not as light as is being claimed? Who knows?

I'm guessing around 550kg, which still isn't a bad weight with full suvframes etc on it. I'd be happy with 550kg in that state to be honest. Are you going to repaint the centres on the splits? They'd look completely out of place gold on your car. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Jim does NOT no the weight! The car was weighed on endafs scales BEFORE the new seats were fitted since then the rear subframe has been drilled, carbon fibre rocker cover was then fitted along with other lighter parts so that is why I do NOT know the exact weight of the car, I do not know why Jim is claiming her does.. more speed 1293 turbo mini-180bhp 171tourque@15psi

If you know the weight before you fitted the bits, that gives you something to work from, so then you can work out your saving of your new seats and so on.

Before seats, rear subframe, kad rear arms, carbon fibre rocker cover, lightweight battery etc the car was weighted on endafs scales and was 565kg the recaro seats were 16kg each mind! It's not a completion.. more speed 1293 turbo mini-180bhp 171tourque@15psi
