Good work!

Do you have 90 degree leads? Looks like it could be tight!

My pipe goes over thermostat like urs.. i hate it there, as e5tus points out the leads a fooker and also the pipes rubbing thru on the thermostat/nut/bolt also rubs on the bonnet i know yours is clubby but must be similar at that point

the cooler pipe runs similar on mine but sits between the plugs so standard leads are not an issue; from the photos, it looks fine to me

Cheers guys I'm planning on using 90 degree ends at the spark plugs.
Just about to order some silicone leads and cut to suit.
The exhaust and megajolt are the main things to do now....not looking forward to the megajolt if I'm honest lol.

Considering what you have already done on your mini josh wiring the megajolt will be a piece of p--- for you!
I treated every item (crank sensor, coil pack, megajolt, etc) separate and wired them into the edis pack one at a time working off the drawing from trigger wheels. It went easier than i thought to be honest, i connected my rev counter directly into the edis pack as it didnt like being connected to the megajolt for some reason.
Keep up the good work fella its looking great. Its always good to see another clubby ripping the road up.

Thanks Roy!
I'm sure I'll sort it. Just a bit daunting looking at it now as it's been used before. (I bought it 2nd hand some time ago) it's been done to a not so great standard to say the least lol. Nothing that can't be sorted though.

Out of interest what type/size wire should I use?

My megajolt came as a kit from trigger wheels and they sent me various single core wires of different colours between 0.5mm and 1mm.
There is no big loading on the megajolt system and i will check but i think i only have a 3 or 5 amp fuse supplying it. Its been a while since i fitted it all.

I've ordered a few different colored cable ready fo the megajolt wiring.
Do people heat shrink there looms together or just use a bit of insulating tape to keep it all tidy?

Been struggling this weekend trying to weld my custom exhaust together. As I'm using stainless steel I think the welder is on its limit. It keeps jamming and I've spent half a day yesterday taking the welder to bits and re feeding the wire through...
Here's a poic of it so far anyway lol...

Got a mate to sort it oiut for me in the week with his industrial machine, so not the end of the world.

Here's a pic with the bonnet shut. (just making sure it does lol)

I also got oil pressure up on the starter! A good 30psi! :)
BUT....
The rockers are fouling the rocker cover! So going to have to take it off as well as the breather pipes and intercooler pipe. Oh well lol. I'll get the power file out and see if I can get some clearance.
Strange as the rockers are MED 1.3 roller tip rockers, NOT 1.5 high lift!?

Ok
I've sorted our the wiring for the megajolt I think!!

Does anyone know if it's Ok to take the 12v power feed from the existing coil wire? It's switched live.
I've soldered the power wires from coil pack, edis, and megajolt unit together then going to a connector to the same switched live. Is this Ok or should I run 3 separate wires from the fuse box?
Also am I right in using the same point on the body for the earth's?

Thanks
Josh

Trying to get it started today. But Imy struggling to make the ignition leads so I'm going to get some custom ones made up.
Thought I'd check out the fuel pressure....
I'm using a mpi tank and pump. You can hear it pumping but it drips fuel out of the outlet. Not even trickle! Does this mean it's knackered? It's sat in my shed for at least 8 years dry! I've got about 10 litres of fuel in the tank so it's definitely in the fuel.

If I need a new pump should I her the replacement pump from minispares or is there a better alternative?

Thanks josh

I'd pull the pump assy out, sometimes there is a small rubber hose inside, if this has perished the fuel pump runs but effectively short circuits inside the tank. Worth a check anyway. My experience of in tank pumps is they either run ok or are seized.

It is odd as you can hear it pumping away, but just dripping out
