Well went out in the garage last night with grand plans to crack on with the car but unfortunately the garage looked like a tornado had hit it!

Andy and I are definitely messy workers! So I spent an hour or so tidying up and re-organising so I have some space to work on the car (eventually), thought I better do something car related so popped my replacement steering wheel and gear knob on.

Going to use the other wheel on the clubby when I dig it out of the container (this decade hopefully)

I've been sorting my MJ loom out and plumbing bits up in the engine bay but nothing really picture worthy.

However I shoved my new gauges into the dash and just throught I'd get a little piccy

It's not real unfortunately. There is a cheeky IAT gauge behind it.

It Lives!!!!!!

Albeit briefly. Cuts out after about 10-20 seconds with a gurgle from the carb, suspect the float isn't set right.

Sounds nice though when it runs. No video yet as I can't find my flatcap!

Found the problem with the carb, fuel pressure was too low and it was way too lean. Knocked the cam in and solved a couple of oil leaks (well the oil drain remains to be seen). Waiting on some hose clips for the silicone hoses then MOT should be around the corner. Cosmetics can come after!
