Evening all...... Found a little bit of welding I had to do, then the angle grinder blew up so off to Wickes who wanted £45 for one........ Got one from B&Q in the end £25 quid and same brand as the last one which lasted 3 years.

Today the old man put a coat of red oxide over the seam sealed areas, now it's completely ready for Stonechip to go on underneath.

I think you'll need to use the hammerite thinners for smoothright - what does it say on the tim about thinning? |

There is some 'special' hammerite thinners, might be worth having a look on the thinners tin.

Reference my question earlier on thinning Hammerite Smooth, it says on tin not to thin it, but I think that is if you are brushing it on.
