Vegard is talking about the oil pump mate.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

with ref- to the bolts holding the pump to the block they are the bolts with washer built on them,
get you're point now "thicky bloody thicky I am", sent for a new one now as my post, so Ill see
how that fits when it arrives, It does look different not as bulky..

I've had this happen several times. Ditch the washers, use Loc-tite. And. Relieve the casing a bit. Job done!

Engine running ok now boost and all, test driven the car breathy today will need some tweaking, but all seems well..

Changed electrics again wasn't happy with what I did before, so here we go..

Cut a bigger hole in the shelf to start with..

Routed the wiring for outside of car down left hand side..

Started to route the wiring to the new fuse box location..

Got a few more fuses wired at this stage..

Made a stiffener to put across back of hole I cut out of shelf, will also act as a support
for the new shelf above the original shelf to give more depth for the fuse box..

Tidied up the drop down shelf and painted it..

Made the top shelf stuck some sound proofing on it to stop vibrating..

Stiffener in position..

Drop down shelf bolted through to the stiffener..

Top shelf in place, fixed it by using Velcro on stiffener and front dash rail..

Sat M.J. and Enis unit on the top shelf, will tidy the Enis wiring later..

Made Facer a one plug connection..

All back together now, that's a relief..

Sorting rest of engine breather atm..

Going to wait and see how it goes before I do any more to the breather, but on saying that there's two schools of thought about what is collected in the catcher tank..

If the oil was of any good, I think the car manufacturers would have made an catchtank with drain back to sump, and not put it in to the combustion

Good looking car :)

love the filter idea*wink*

as for the oil in the catch tank, why even take the risk of it not being any good and putting it back in. just chuck it out when you do an oil change.
