Your workmanship impresses me but I see you had to do the same as I when making up a front pipe to suit - bits and pieces !

One thing you could do which would be cool, you could rig up a brake switch to the accelerator, so when you get over a certain amount of pedal travel it opens up, that way when driving slowly it would stay shut, or on the motorway etc, then open up when you give it a boot-full |

I belive this is how NoS works with a micro switch on the carb / throttle body so the NoS is only active at full throttle, you would require a fast acting actuator to open the open pipe at full throttle and from what i have seen on my mates F100 there not that fast.

wonder if you could set that exhaust valve up to take a pressure reading from the headers and open to maintain a setting like the wastgate on a turbo? if u know what i mean?

Yeah that's interesting turbo this, I will definitely be looking Into a better way of doing it once it's on the road!
