Thanks for the comments lads. Tried a start up yesterday. Had no spark, turned out points needed gapping, still no start up, not sure how much fuel the cylinders are getting. I have a fuel pressure gauge on order. Im pitting its either the pump or the carb.

You're using a dizzy with points? How are you controlling the advance, is the dizzy fixed? Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I have the weights from a turbo dizzy in there, its only to get the car running anyway. Going to switch to MegaJolt as soon as the new version is released. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Martin Milliner was supposed to email me when it was available. (the new version any hoo) He must have forgot if its out. I still need to fire it up on the dizzy anyways. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Yes it ran, for about 30 secs on the dizzy then it cut out. Ive had battery issues, i think either the battery is dead or my starter is goosed. Im just letting my bank account recoup before ordering an MJLJ and a High Starter from Wil H.

This opens the door, ive ditched the internal lock, opening and winder mech.

sorry yeah thats what i meant, didnt mean locking it, my bad. i take it that is just connected to where the normal mech would be connected?

You push it up and yes it just welded to the normal mech.

Another quick vid of the motor running, ill add up some pics of my little door latches ect after tea! Its running a tad rich at the mo! It absoloutly reeks of fumes!

Ahh, i am in the midst of constructing these, similair sort of thing to the standard ones but they go down to the top of top of the subby and to the bulkhead not the inner wing! This is due to having tanks and resevoirs there instead. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
