Ah cool, thats a good size!!

Where abouts did you get the tube from?

Im at that kinda stage, spending hours measuring stuff up and other odds and sods that don't seem to make any visiable difference.

sorry, not a lot,

nothing worth noting anyway.

just awaiting a load of wire to turn up along with an inovate LC1, and a touch screen module to interface with the megasquirt, plus some manifold bolts.

PMSL @ nic

its one of those lcdash thingies, you could use a palm pilot or somthing, but for a computer retard like me this should be a bit more plug and play.

plus it'll be pussible to take a datalog onto a usb pen, and you can display stuff on the screen in a graph mode so you can se whats been happening in the last 10 or so secs.

gonna fold up a works style dash pod and mount it along with some other gauges (intercooler temp in/out, oiltemp, rpm, egt) in that and have the ecu behind it.

well,

the loom for the engine management and lighting is done, all the sensors are fitted. i have been checking the electrics out today and all the lights work apart from the indicators (because I blew the flasher unit up...)

I have just proved the crank signal from the hall switch with an LED on the starter too, so i will plug the ecu in in the morning and check all the sensors read right and buzz it over and check for a spark.

then all i need to do is.....

fit the top hose, silver solder the feeds and returns to the tanks and fit them along with the hoses fuel pump and fuel reg, pipe up the wastegates, refit the oil pressure gauge.... then try to start it.

no but SOOOON!

had the ECU connected yesterday and "seeing" the engine, and have all the wiring working, and have oil pressure.

silver solder should arrive today so i can sort the tanks and fuel lines.

did remember I have totaly forgot about the lamda sensor, but i'll probably try starting it without.

megasquirt,

annoyingly I cant seem to get the version 2.0.1 MS2 extra code to work properly which i want to use as it has boost control rather than the version 1.0.2 i have loaded at the moment.

there is another 7 port turbo running dunno much more than that though.
