Yeah wasn't really looking to spend £300 quid on one!!

I'll just have to look out for a bargain.

I'm going to a scrappy on the weekend, so hoping there wil be one there.

I think mine was a tenner, but it does need a rebuild.

Has anyone got a good source for the rebuild kits? I know I saw them on Ebay a while back but no such luck when looking again?

In think it was a company in the states, Uk would make things easier (TAX etc).

Good stuff to read I must say.

This is Paul from the Nethelands, friend of SirYun also active on this forum.

With his help I build my current engine; a 1310, SW5, stage3 head and it produces 90 bhp with lots of torgue.

This engine replaced the old 1000 A-engine. It has been staring at me form the corner of the garage for the last 3 years now...

Since Joost just bought a 16v bimmerhead for his car I couldn't stay behind knowing that he will have more power than me, cant stand that!

So, I allready bought a 8v bimmer head which I'm going to put on my old engine. And if youre going to this, you might aswell go al the way so it will be turbo-charged.

I allready found out that the GT1752 is the one to go for, used in a Saab 93 or 95.

What I do not know yet is if you should look for the diestel-turbo or the petrol-turbo.

@Paul S: I will outbit you! *wink*

It's the petrol one you want.

I've stopped bidding on these as I cant get in the workshop because of the pile of parts I might need in the future.

Funny this thread has popped back up...as im rebuilding my turbo as week speak!

Does anyone know where the circlip is supposed to go, when I took it apart I never took one off and I can't see any where that it could go?

Looks like I gave you bad advice with that kit - just noticed it says "ford".
