Just stick standard rockers on, never heard anything good about toller rockers. Just that they look shiny when the rocker covers off. |

I've run 1.5:1 roller rockers on my 1430 stroker, but have just fitted a new 7 port head and new cam, so will not be fitting the roller rockers until it's properly run in. The stock rockers will do that job just fine. On 24th Dec, 2008 Nic said:

Ok a bit of a update from yesterday, well I got the eng in and all was good then I fired it up and something was a miss, it sort of felt like the head gasket had gone!!! And it had a bad sound almost like the valves was hitting the piston!! Now I have not mucked with the timing when I pulled it so all should be fine there? Then I was thinking it could be the wind age tray!!! but its fine at low revs so I am not sure.

Paul might be right, it could have killed a valve due to the heat of the det, or caused it to stick.
