Yeah try something a bit safer Simon until you can get it setup properly.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Well today I had some time on my hands, so I got into the cave and started adding some weight to the MK1. This has been a job that's been on the to do list since Avon 2011, where I bought the 2 steady's *surprised* I just need to get some new bushes and they're good to go on the car.

I have made them flush with the bottom of the gearbox as I am riding low now a days *smiley*, also they are made from 2 bits of Gr2 Ti I had sat about, so they should be man enough.

This is my new oil cooler, it's all welded together and not pressed like the Dog Shit that was on there "Buy Cheap Buy Twice!! " Also they said if there were any dramas, to send it back. *happy**happy*

The oil cooler looks nice, Where are you going to mount it? I'm looking at ideas, I guess it needs some insulation from the car?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Its from Rad Tec dan.

Will I have been working on the car this morning and I have swapped the glass and saved 9.65kgs so not to bad.

Then I went to fit up my new FG boot Only to find that its to big for the hole *frown* then i looked at the bonnet and the fit was dog shit as well so looks like they will not be going on the MK1.

looks good, i do rate radtec
i bought a extreme rad for my mini-cab and after 2 years of it sitting in the original box they still offered to exchange it for one that didnt need the inner wing modifying!

how far off is the boot? could use your metal one as a template and trim it down depending on how much it owes you!

Think it depends where you get the FG parts from, ive got a single skin boot and size wise its perfect, just a little out of shape, but refitting the boot seat at the top has got it fitting something like. I've got fg/carbon bonnet to fit soon, but it looks a pretty good one

Today has been one of them days, I pulled the master cylinders out and had a look at the seals and all was well. Then I flushed the system with 6 1/2 litres of Halfords finest DoT 4. Now the wife has one leg bigger than the other *happy*

Next I started putting the rear 1/4s back together What a piss about that was I give up after doing one. As this was as fun as Syphilis!!
