Looks good!! (Did ya run out of paint for the handbrake bracket *tongue* ) and with your coilovers did you have to make a new turret? Or do they fit somehow?

So after about a 3-4 mile road test I discovered this, only oil in the first pipe what do you guys think?

What way is the crankcase breather and PCV system setup ?

Often oil in the intake simply comes via that

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Yeah I did originally think that but it's dry no residue there or anything just gonna keep a eye on it over the next few drives

So it's now legal have been out and have done 50 or so miles in it no major troubles only small things like a few leaks I've got one from the drainbung on the rad and and leak from the clutch pipe. Next jobs it's it the dash and wiring up the two wideband lambdas ready for mapping in Feb

Good job, anything to comment on MOT or was it straight through. How is it to drive on the road?

75' Mini special deluxe.
1275 A+ engine with turbo on the way...

Mot wise it failed on emissions due to me running no lambda at the min and the other thing was headlight aim but the tester was nice :) it drives suprisingly well considering and the gear ratios are pretty good etc

so after a trip to sc we found that it had no vvt or boost, after a bit of wiring to sort that we got on with the mapping to find the fuel pump is not manly enough so that kinda stopped play...

but it has a very good map on it and it drives extremely well with a hell of a lot of torque low down.... should be 140 ish plus

here the video link for a quck blast down the road

Thanks I'm really happy with how it drives and how the power is delivered it has full boost by 2000rpm, which also means it has a hell of a lot of low down torque 😀

as soon ive done the fuel pump/swirl pot, ill possibly take it to ray west tuning at thruxton as it about 120miles closer, the map that is now on it is a proper tried and tested map that they have proved on other conversions that ran about 145 ish bhp

Did you have to modify the inner wings or bulkhead at all to fit the engine in?
