Managed to do a bit this afto, had to completely alter the throttle arm as it was hitting the manifold, couldn't fit the carb spacer as it made the plenum foul the scuttle panel....

Could be the engine sitting back a bit, spacer was off a previous 1275 fitted |

Received the 3 and 5mm bore silicone tubing for the dump valve , boost gauge and fuel regulator today

Mounted the air filter behind the wing, going to make a cover to go round it to give a bit of protection

I'd be tempted to bring it round to the front of the bay. I'm about to do the same with mine as it's sucking in a load of hot air from behind the rad at the moment.

Had to mod the intercooler , cut off the inlet and outlets.

Borrowed the portable Tig plant from work for the weekend , so today I cut and welded up the intercooler pipes .

I like the idea of plates on intercooler, think rubicon done this before, not sure if pc plod would like it? Lookin at that pic tho i reckon it would really neat if you painted the part of pipework that pokes through the slam panel/bonnet body colour to the point where it would match where it comes through on the drivers side.. that make sense out of my head?
