Managed to do a bit this afto, had to completely alter the throttle arm as it was hitting the manifold, couldn't fit the carb spacer as it made the plenum foul the scuttle panel....

Had to alter the throttle cable mount on the abutment plate so it's in alignment with the throttle arm... needs a tweek as when the cable is fitted it just fouls the plenum inlet

Mounted the air filter behind the wing, going to make a cover to go round it to give a bit of protection

But nowhere near as much as if it was in the front of the engine bay in the cold air flow *wink*

I'd be tempted to bring it round to the front of the bay. I'm about to do the same with mine as it's sucking in a load of hot air from behind the rad at the moment.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I'll test the water first may not have any room at the front after I've fitted the intercooler

Had to mod the intercooler , cut off the inlet and outlets.

Drilled the top of the cooler to fit the feed pipes

Blanked off the original inlets

Re used the cut off inlets and welded into the new positions

Sprayed it satin blackblack

Borrowed the portable Tig plant from work for the weekend , so today I cut and welded up the intercooler pipes .

Tig welder

Pipes welded up

Had to modify the turbo outlet by welding a bend to it as I only just had enough tubing.

I like the idea of plates on intercooler, think rubicon done this before, not sure if pc plod would like it? Lookin at that pic tho i reckon it would really neat if you painted the part of pipework that pokes through the slam panel/bonnet body colour to the point where it would match where it comes through on the drivers side.. that make sense out of my head? Lol
