I was gonna say... ive seen it now wrapped green 'oh the weight of it!' And last time i spoke to him was at miniworld live.. he had just brought the minus and was having a whale of a time! He said how he had blown 30 grand on the carbon fibre thing yet having so much more fun beating everything in the 8 grand minus! I sat in the minus and watched it a few times... id of given 8grand there n then!! And so other people were trying to give him 10 plus but he knew he'd got a bargain n was having too much fun in it

They still have the genuine "carbone fibre" mini, although it's green now though.

It was quite cheap. He had up at 5 for a while without much interest.

I'm sure it was subject to an IVA request so not to sure how they're still using it.

"tons of delicious genuine carbon fibre, which includes the roof, boot lid and front end, the first of its kind in the country." 😂😂😂

All this tasty genuine Carbon Fibre combined with that mean son of an engine means that it chucks out 171hp with a light weight of 465kg, comparable with a 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R that weighs twice as much. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

😉😉😉😉😉 is all I have to say 😉😉😉😉

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

I saw the car at one of the shows and thought it was interesting for what it was - a well pressented show car.

One thing I did note was that you could see some pin holes of light shining through the carbon roof. I'd guess that a roof panel easily needs 5-7 layers or more...

I'm starting to think there was some genuine fibreglass in there?

I'm not too keen on it, as other people have said they've turned it into a scene car. When you compare it with other cars on this forum its hardly a one of is it? There is nothing all that special about it apart from its shiny and uber clean!

I saw it at a show before all this kicked off... i think it was just after the genuine carbone rockere covere thread
I can say it looked very very well, seem to think it was before all the carbon went onto it
I took great interest because it was already a claimed 465kg with stock ( all bee it "miglia spec" ) subframe
I have seen in great detail alse where what it takes to get under 500kg and mine being 633kg with stock subframes, doors and rear cage
Thats what i based my guestimate of 565kg on

I have since gained 20kg on the front subframe alone haha and over 40 on the roll cage
But lost 50kg on "stuff" my rear settup with diff and suspension has fortunately not gained a single kg even though there is more steel in there than needed

Brett, looking at your signature, he got it weighed up properly on the end then? Was it spot on 565kg?

465kg???? With both standard subframes? Is that a true figure? Or have missed something?

Searched, found it, 565kg. Most likely below 550kg now.

Swansea boyo!

They've known it's not weighted less than 565kg for a long time. They aren't a nice pair of guys to be honest, they was at a small show in Aber last year, didnt win anything and left right away haha. It gets a lot of attention on instagram and whenever someone asks 'genuine' haha sorry! When someone asks them a real question that has an answer they don't want to give they kick up a massive fuss or just delet their posts. What on earth possessed them to paint it green and still keep the carbon on show I'll never know!

What about the whole tic tac theme on the minus? I was wondering if it's some sponsorship thing or not. Just seems strange to cover it in tic tac logos.

Not really fussed about the styling; I had a good look over it and although it's not my thing, I respect that it gets all the attention it was built for. From what I saw, he was an alright guy, ready to chat with everyone at the show.

But blagging about the weight is a bit daft. I'm suspicious about the genuine carbon now. Pretty sure the roof was fibreglass. Shame.

That's what happens when you have a big enough wallet.

Something just never rung true for me about them passing off the car as though the built it. Endaf put it together and likely was well paid no complaint there. For me there is a huge difference showing a car that you actually grafted on and winning trophies for it, compared to winning trophies on a car you own that someone else did all the hard work on.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

There's no doubt that the workmanship involved on the car is awesome, I expect no less of a car built by Endaf, but it's the passing it off as everything that it is not which i think has got under everybody's skin that can see through it all.

Lol, that's pretty hypocritical. Considering they got Endaf to fit seats for them, a pretty straightforward task surely!
