I should do josh but it wouldn't be a patch on the work your doing. Very Nice.

I have had some good runs out in my gt before all this nice wet weather set in.
I have a very annoying oil leak from my clutch housing. I have fitted a new oil seal and had new bushes fitted and machined to my primary gear. my end float is spot on but still it bloody leaks. I have a feeling its crankcase pressure but i have already shafted one AP clutch plate. Not cheap to keep replacing every time oil gets on it.
But i will sort it eventually i hope.

Keep up the good work fella its going to be a stunner.

Ah i see... would your manifold and turbo fit without box or is it for extra room?

It won't fit without bulkhead box mate. The manifold I have is from mattys first batch I believe and I opted for the high flow one lol.
Hopefully it's worth the effort lol

Finally managed to get the bulkhead box welded in...

Got a new intercooler off of matt the other week, and positioned where the oil cooler will go...

Nice neat fit I reckon. Just hope its big enough to keep it all cool!

Bit of bling heat shield lol

I've also run the fuel and return pipes under the car.

Cheers jonny.
Not sure. Got a few hours plumbing in all the pipe work and I gotta sort the megajolt out. Plus sort the tank etc out.
Hopefully I'll get a few miles on it this summer!? :)

I've had a bit of a struggle this weekend but hey ho.

Was trying to work out the best way to mount my coil bracket.
I bought this mount from KAD ages ago thinking it'll make this task easy...

But there is no way it will fit my coil pack...

Am I right in thinking that there is another smaller type of coil pack that will fit this bracket?
I was hoping to be able to fit the coil pack to the transfer case as it makes sense to me.

Yea two types of ford packs.

Didn't think KAD used mega jolt? Sure that's not for what the migs use?

SC sell both mounts.

I just made mine. Thick bit of ally cut about. Drilled and tapped.

Ok maybe they don't sell them!

The coil in that photo is different.

The thing with this coil it's massive and the bottom isn't flat, so not the easiest thing to make a bracket for.
What's the other type of coil available? Has it got a flat bottom?

Does the holes line up? If so cut the center out?

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

I have the same and it was easy. Flat bit of ally, two holes for where it bolts to transfer housing and four long Allen bolts into ally to hold coil to ally.

Not used the other type personally. I think I read somewhere there's a newer type that's smaller.

Ok I'm sure I can do that.
Is there a reason you used ally? How thick?

Not much progress as I had a electric problem...sorted for now lol.

I've fitted the MPI fuel tank and pump
Made a bracket for the coil pack, wasn't hard at all (thanks si) haha
I painted the gear selector mechanism...

Trying to figure out the alternator wiring as I'm using a nippon denso type.
Thought I sussed it but no ignition light?

Bit more progress...

Finally got my head around this! I put a spring in the wrong place doh! lol

Fitted a fan switch to my thermostat housing...

I've also removed the mechanical fan and seeing if this set up will keep things cool...

Bit more done....

Intercooler pipes rigged up as much as I could..

Obviously need clips on the pipes lol.

Engine steady sorted..

Been having trouble with the nipon denso alternator.
Basically the ignition light wouldn't come on. Tried all sorts and decided the alternator was faulty and put the standard one back on. Which is a bit annoying as it's going to make it tight for the oil cooler pipes, not the end of the world though I guess.

Next will be the exhaust i think.

Thanks
Josh
