It will be left where it is and take into account aswell that the real manifold wont follow this ones route and will flow better, this one is just to hold it where I want it for now.

As Joe suggested, I think you would be much better off rotating the turbine slightly and loosing the last 90 degree bend.

The turbo could stay in pretty much the same position too.

Good work though!

Nope it's a fiat cinq rad. Should work well with the electric waterpump and dry deck.

absolutly rammed, noair getting through at all so i fucked it off and welded a top back on:

getting better at welding but still not great, so then i blasted it all ready to take to the powdercoaters tomorrow:

still waiting for some 5/16 rod to thread lefty and righty for the roses to come in to finish my mock up of the turbo so i can get my manifold done :( thats the big bit that i need out of the way.

and this arrived, afte lots of help from people on here to tell me what to get.

well thats about it. slow progress.

Powder coating came back, went for something different to mix it up a bit but it came out alot shitter than i thought it would

thought the gunmetal metallic would have a bit more shine and metalicness, not t menion is really thin compared to when i got some bits done in black... oh well lesson learnt. ill use them for now.

The powdercoating looks good, i like the colour, nicer than black and it won't show the dirt so less cleaning.

Thankss for the reply about the rad, looks like a nice size, i've been looking for something off the shelf that would fit a round nose.

county powder coating in corby, they are really good, when i powdercoated some wheels they came out lovely. would recomend them but not the gunmetal finish, well not yet ill polish them and see how they come up.

they powdercoated the outers on these for me, they looked lovely.

Sweet, I've got some banded steels I might get powder coated.
How much were they for the wheels?

(just on their website)

erm cant remeber to be honest, its not alot if you blast them yourself, they dont blast tho they only coat so it can cost more if you dont have access to a blaster. but luckily theres a blasting company next to them haha.

nah it still isnt alot with the blasting, i didnt blast the outers myself, i used the company next door, dont remeber the price but remeber think that was good value, especially for the finish, powdercoating looks lovely in block colours and usually its really thick so hides any small blemishes.
