rods are done, i think, 530.05g each sound right? they are all balanced up now but will more than likely spend alittle more time with the polish

To me it seems as you've polished off the shot peened layer. Is that correct? On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

its holts matt black, i got it from a local car shop, its good stuff, quite tough Yes i moved to the darkside

i can weld ok. im just worried about cutting it all out. im just being silly. did you pre- shape the metal or did you just like bedn it slightly slide it into the arch then it takes it own shape? On 27th Apr, 2010 Rick.SPI said:

haha ok. just gathering as many tips and tricks and looking at as many pictures for when i do it then i can just do it easy. it all looks pretty simple other than making sure you dont warp anything. did you cut any of your back seat away on the side? have you got any pictures of the inside of the rear arches? held up on the cam lube that has not arrived yet and torquing the rod bolts, because i broke my socket
