Propper crap video, and the lack of exhaust just fills the cabin with smoke. But you get the idea!

Small update for now, although there's been quite a bit going on

Had to remake the oil return as it ran straight through my new downpipe location

Also had to make new coolant lines as the n/a ones were too short

Made up most of my brake lines, but had to mount the brake bias to finish the rear line off. So am just finishing up this

Got a few more jobs planned for the weekend, then I'm hoping to be able to drive it out of the garage for the 1st time with the new engine

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Don't think so. I'm no expert, but it doesn't appear to have enough lacquer. Plus it seems to weigh something....😁

thats a very nice project.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

Fitted the reservoirs.

Was struggling for somewhere to put them. But this seems ok, I think!

Also nearly finished making the brake lines, but miscounted the fittings so need to order 2 more.

Same here, if you go shorter where the reservoirs are now it starts to kink next to the cylinder.

Might move them closer so that I can shorten the hoses....

Nice pedal. Is it one piece design, all cured at once?

Looks great that pedal.

With regards to the cylinders, is that the correct plumbing? On mine the top would be outlet rather than going to reservoir.

Yes, 4 piece mould. All cured in one go, then bonded to the aluminium

Yeah, this is definitely how wilwood cylinders are plumbed in ( although you have just made me google it to check!)
