ah right i thought that would be the case, im guessing i will be ok with a 1 piece down pipe on mine, but ive got a lot more room than you.

i hadnt really thought about the bonnet getting hot, ive got some of that 3 layer crinkly heat sheild type stuff that demon theives sell. im going to make a heat sheild from that.

this is one serious serious peice of kit, fantastic work and also a great advert for Jasons skills ! by the looks of it this will be a very tidy motor when its done.

the column joint are racetech ones, the sell them in demon tweeks but are very expensive, i managed to get some off ebay a while ago and they were half price.

I had the idea for the cut down rear subframe at mitp, after seeing the cost of a rear beam.
