OK so these are the cars I owned or that I used for long enough to be mentionned.
Had my license in 1997 then :

198? Renault Supercinq, passenger door was self opening on enthusiastic lefts ...
1981 Mk1 Golf GTi , changed engine then box wich happens to be a diesel one then diff died so I rebuilt it with GTi gearbox internals but kept the ratio as it was more economical and fun (125 miles per hour at 4,500 RPM)
198? Fiat Uno 60
198? Citroen Visa with the 0,652 liter engine, wouhou !

2000 :
198ish Renault Express 1,6D (from 370K to 400K Kms) - 150€ with a full tank
1995 Clio 1,9 D (from 125K Kms to 270K Kms)
1992 1275 Mini that I partially stripped and put to my parents place (that was late 2002) - 150€
1987 Advantage Mini (998) used it a year and it died from rot - 75€
1987 Mayfair Mini 998. Lost the paperworks and was not able to get 'em back (2nd buyer W/O paperwork and W/O MOT or the like so it is basically fooked) 400€ but came with parts including a fully rebuilt twin HS2
1992 Mayfair chavved 1275 shell - 100€
It got married with the Advantage parts and papers then sold 600€

2005 :
2005 first new car Clio III DCi 85 sold after 4 month
2006 2nd and last new car Clio III DCi 85 sold after a year (cold shower so back to used cars)
2001 Renault Megane 1 1,9 DCi estate. Used it a year then some guy hit me in the back so the car was scrapped and beautifully funded the follower
2003 Renault Megane 2 1,9 DCi estate, current daily driver

The 1992 1275 is soon roaring back to life with the Mayfair engine (that's 2010)
