I don't think it would fit alongside my daft headlights.

Got the Lambda settings and idle fueling sorted out in the ECU and took it for a little drive.

It's bumpy, uncomfortable, noisy and the bonnet doesn't stay shut, but everything I've tried works and it's fun. Got 7psi plodding about on local roads.

It's currently marking it's territory in the garage. It appears the gear selector oil seal isn't functioning as expected after the bobbin snapped...

Welcome to the self opening bonnet/oil leak club!

Oil leak sorted, I took Tom for a blast around some country lanes with the laptop on his knee last night. The end result, fuel and ignition maps hugely improved and the car running well enough for a little trip down to Pod Land. It's fair to say that we were practising the hard run in technique. I think Tom quite enjoyed his test drive.

Only one slight problem - a little bit of rubbing on the back wheel.



Been out to the garage tonight, jacked the back end up a touch, changed the oil & filter, refitted all the relays that bounced out on the country lanes (fun driving home in the semi dark with no headlights), tightened the gaycharger belt and gave it a good spanner check.

The only running problem now is that it cuts out when the throttle snaps shut. We think this is because the throttle body is so far away from the engine and is still sucking. Time to research IACVs...

Please fit the second wideband, for me AND for the well being of engine of course.
I'm really keen to find out if the whole charge robbing thing with a wet manifold setup is as bad as we all think.

I've sold the second wideband on unfortunately. The car is parked up for the time being. Lost motivation for it. Will probably pick it up again in the spring.

I have an hot NA SPI and a second controller in the shelf, but I'm too lazy to remove the LCB to weld another socket into it. At least for this year (like you)

Go on, what have you broken or are planning to improve?

Second gear is crunchy, so sorting that before I damage the gear.

Also swapping the S.C. LCB as it's cracked and the fit is poor.
