sounds right,

I think early mini's had .625 for both and they introduced the .7's and .75's because of the extra fluid needed for the disc brakes

Its update time!

On Thursday I was down the lock up pissing about with the car and a old boy stopped for a chat about the car. So, we got chatting and I was telling him how shit it was not having any power in there, and that I would love to weld up that shitty Webber box cos it looked horrid. Then he said "well I have a generator in the van that you can borrow all weekend just full it up and its yours", so I ripped his arm off!

Yesterday the plan was to make sure I had all the stuff to work on the car and get it sorted in one weekend. A quick shopping trip and I had all the welding gas some of my paint mixed up in some Rattle Cans. So then I started to strip out all the stuff in the bay and the dash also came out, so I didn't have any fires. I got the generator at 16:30 and I got most of the small holes welded up then it was Beer Time with Mrs H!!

07.30 And the alarm went off, as I had a date with Craig about the sub frame. Now last night this was a good idea, that I would put a full shift in on the car, but there was no way I could work with tool the way I was feeling *frown* a full fry up, 8 bits of toast and 3 cans of coke later I was good to go.
In the end I had to recruit Jo to help me to sit inside and look out for fires and to push the metal out as I tacked it in place anyway Job Done!

Tomorrow I hope to get it painted.

Its not that good up close, as It has not been wet sanded. I am going to do the wing next as I am not happy with the big hole in it.
