What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile

I doubt it would do a 100mph 1/4. Won't be putting it up the strip at MITP as it won't be fully mapped.

Been a bit over taken by life over the last 6 months or so, but have managed to get the odd hour here and there.

ECU is now Typhoon 2 and does lots more stuff that will be fantastic, but I can't remember what...

Then I made this:

Which does this:

More pics here - http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=532342

Typically, the captive nut for the bonnet pin thingy dropped off, which called for more bodgy fibreglassing...

Also added some splodges of fibreglass in the corners so that the rubber thingys on the slam panel will actually touch the bonnet.

Just need to get it to uncle ricks so he can colour it back in.

Also done a bit more on the grille. I've altered the spacing of the horizontal spats so that it lines up with the cut outs on the fascist dictatorship's emblem.

Mr Fenton very kindly tigged it together for me. Next job is to trim it down so the head light rings fit in the right place and work out how the donald duck I am going to attach it to the car...

Yep. Aiming for a spring MOT. Just going to plod through the little jobs over the winter and get it towed to a set of rollers to get the efi mapped.

Done now needs redoing lol

Looking good Andy.

Typhoon 2 has launch control but not included in the mini loom or much info in the instructions.... Not sure how my gearbox would take an emergency start..

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I've been plodding on with the little jobs as and when time allows.

Rick has painted the underside of the bonnet again, so I've fitted that (still needs adjustment).

Carl has re-anodized the wheels for me as the silver didn't really grab your eye.

The Grille is coming together. Now ready for the next lot of welding.

It's not ran in about 6 months so tried to start it this afternoon. Wouldn't go, so there's one more thing to think about. That said, I bet I didn't reset the inertia cut off switch when I fitted the carpets...

Obviously the natural thing to do when your car is 99% complete is to crack on and get it on the road, not buy another rusty shell...

It won't be on display. It will be used in anger! Hoping to be tested this month.

How many times have you now said it will be finished. Lol

The last final bits seem to take the longest, look forward to seeing it at MITP (I won't put a year).

Looking good though, wheels look awesome.

I'll get some pictures when it's on the road and cleaned up. I'm serious now Lee, there is very little left to do on it.
