This morning ordered the carb rebuild kit. A new needle and spring from avr classics. |

Need to get the dash pot machined to take the sealing ring for the turbo carb . And fit some of the other seals in reverse to the standard carb..

Got some flexible ducting from work for the turbo air intake, had to modify the lower rad hose to allow clearance for the ducting to pass.

Just Been out and bought a brake flaring tool so I can sort the brake pipe out, then I can get on with fitting the clutch slave .. |

Looks good but I will say I didn't have much luck with that type of trunking, it managed to find something to rub on and went into a hole. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

Done a bit this afternoon , re-routed the choke cable , replaced and re-connected the brake pipe , modded the 1 3/4 abundment plate and welded on a heat shield plate. Also made a mounting plate for the high pressure fuel pump

Seems well heavy... Why not Just roll a bit of ally sheet round it or buy a cheapo Chinese ally mount from eBay. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

Its what I had lying around, the rubber mounts will stop vibration passing through to the body.. |

Carb refurb kit finally turned up. So been in the garage and started to rebuild the carb.. taking the dashpot in work tomorrow to get the o ring groove machined in |

Sorted the connection from fuel feed to regulatory bent a copper tube .

Been in there for six months without any trouble, and ABBA sounds great through them.. especially super trooper.........
