Need to get the dash pot machined to take the sealing ring for the turbo carb . And fit some of the other seals in reverse to the standard carb..
The two outlets I have welded are not needed on a turbo conversion , they are normally just blanked using a hose and a bolt, but I wanted a cleaner look , so decided to remove the brass tube and weld them up

Got some flexible ducting from work for the turbo air intake, had to modify the lower rad hose to allow clearance for the ducting to pass.

Had to shorten the connection to the water pump , this meant removing the heater take off, had to cut down a spare hose and join it half way on the old one to increase the length so it would reach the rad

Ductings a bit tight but it clears all moving parts

Looks good but I will say I didn't have much luck with that type of trunking, it managed to find something to rub on and went into a hole.

Done a bit this afternoon , re-routed the choke cable , replaced and re-connected the brake pipe , modded the 1 3/4 abundment plate and welded on a heat shield plate. Also made a mounting plate for the high pressure fuel pump

Seems well heavy... Why not Just roll a bit of ally sheet round it or buy a cheapo Chinese ally mount from eBay.

Sorted the connection from fuel feed to regulatory bent a copper tube .

Modded the speaker Box so it will sit over the new fuel pipes and re-fitted it , had some sounds through it. Does sound good ..

Was sorting out the dash pod wiring , unknowing to me a positive had shorted , then the loom started smoking.... burn out the positive accessory feed wiring from the ignition.. had to cut open the bulkhead loom and remove the white wire as it had burnt through, luckily it hasn't damaged any other wiring... all replaced now and working...

Also.. The amount of air that the pair of subwoofers will displace will surely destroy the 6x9s you have sharing the same box?

Either way. Get it out of the car!
