Lee, I think you'd better get you car on Endaf's scales, my car has the same amount as carbon as you, (apart from roof), with a custom cage, titanium bottom arms, kad rear disks and arms.......etc and I'm still 100kg's heavier than your quoted figures Team www.sheepspeed.com Racing

In reference to Simon's "what happened to TM thread", I think it's threads like this that make people stop posting on here.

You need to refer to the TM commandments. If you make unsubstantiated claims, you will be mocked.

It's not built to be the fastest or lightest car, just a shiny 'look at me' statement if you ask me, the drilled rollcage still has me amused now reading back through it. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

They still have the car it's just bright green now! They also have a minus, James Evans old car but with tic tac stickers all over it. I'm not keen on either but do appreciate the work gone into them.

I'm quite superised with the actual weight... If you got bags of money the ti shaft and have a look at arc's cf beam and arms match the rest of the car with a actual massive weight loss than just shafts. I wouldn't trust arc angels parts on anything other than panels. I had a carbon engine steady from them and it collapsed in on itself (three other steadies on the car at the time to). It took a year to get a replacement and what they sent is just solid alloy bar covered in carbon lol. Given up now. DSN alloy one is much better. |
