Well,went to the Drags on Saturday,had a great day,place was rammed,waited 3 hours for a run at one point.Met with Robert and David (Tadge).Made some runs with mixed success,due to senility and low grip.The senility was leaving the handbrake on for one run and not switching the gas on for another.Anyway,finally managed a 12.7/107 PB but the 60ft was 2.02,way off the previous best.Later in the run was good,really felt the extra shove.So back to the drawing board to solve the grip problem...... 'Where does the engine go?' |

Went back to Shakey today after making some setup changes to the traction bars.Managed a 1.89 60ft with 12.37 sec @ 110 terminal.Well pleased with this new PB at the end of the season. 'Where does the engine go?' |

Thanks guys,the setup of the traction bars is quite critical,at rest they need to be loose,so when the axle winds up,they hit the spring hard and load the tyres.Also after some playing,the car runs fairly straight on the 7'' rims and 9psi tyre pressure.On the other side,I did 6 runs on Saturday and consumed about a kg of NOS.Hmm.
