Thanks, engine internals are standard.. For now but the itb's ecu etc add a bit more punch.

Looking good. To be critical I think I would have cut and shut the thermostat housing rather than use the snakey hose.

Cheers wil, yeah with hindsight i would do the same, i bought the hose set thats used on the Gsi as im using the corsa rad and knew it would all fit.. but i agree a small 90 deg would have been better. |

Well some bad news, the clutch is making a horrible noise when in neutral.. Engine back out this weekend, think the clutch is either they wrong type or it might not be aligned correctly. Release bearing was new so don't think it's that..

When you say in neutral do you mean with the clutch disengaged (temporary neutral) or just out of gear,

Sorry yes, clutch disengaged.. That does suggest release bearing.. Just can't see it as it's new.
