im not sure yet whether itl be a pattern for mk2 made by maniflow (unless anyone can recomend another company) or ill work this one a little, i cant imagine its that good flowing with my welding inside. just getting final price from maniflow via email as we speak. they said 380 plus Vat in stage 2 diameter stainless with flanges welded on the top but im asking about a multiple buy or trade prices etc. On 17th Feb, 2011 apbellamy said:

AP i tried the manifold from when it had the 90 degree at the bottom to see if it would fit, that bit did so then i fabbed this on the bench as it is easier to get too, ive fabbed it around the covers etc at the end hense the bends but havnt had time to check again in the bay yet yet. im 99% sure itl fit tho ill double check before i sent it out.

well... did a little mocking today. heres where the turbo will sit, just need to finish te rose joint braket to hold the turbo up and then the neat proper manifold can be made by someone who can weld (this one is just to get an idea where i want it)

can you not clock the turbo 90 deg and get rid of that last bend? On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

joe, tryed many ways but in the end this suitd what i wanted in terms of thing being where i need them, if it is 90 degrees evrything seems a bit compact and then things started to get tight, because it needs to be far enough away from the alternator belt (no water pump) so it dosnt give exessive heat and melt it, but at the same time i want to keep it as far in the engine bay as possible as i dont want that heat near my tyres, will make aproprate heat shields to be extra safe.

As Joe suggested, I think you would be much better off rotating the turbine slightly and loosing the last 90 degree bend.

it re-driects how the water flows through the engine, it goes out the side of the block and into the head rather tan circulating the whole engine, in all honesty mate im not the best person to explain it all, i went on other peoples advice. i cant say whther its any better either as i havnt used it.

you do, its one of pauls flanges, although not sure yet wether ill just join it into the main exhaust or run a seperate pipe and have two coming out of the a panel instead of the one. On 17th Feb, 2011 apbellamy said:
