carnage on the car today, well sort of, I’ve had to trim the inside of the valance to get the intercooler in. it’s something I wanted to avoid as I’m trying to keep the shell free of any mods, I guess you won’t ever see it.

I don’t even like drilling holes.

yeah, it's going be tight...... think I can get the beer cooler in there.

im waiting on some hose and gauges still. after that finish wiring the mj and oil filter sandwich plate, which i still need to get if anyone has one spare or know of a cheep one.

not much this week, ive droped the intercooler off to have some tabs put on it and ive got some goodies from the states and china heres my first go at making my dash, going to finish it in black i think.

should have the intercooler in this weekend, then its just the wiring to do!

someone said that the last 10% takes the longest, yep im fed up with it now, or a little scared of starting it :/

the final things to be done.
solder the dash in.
get oil pressure.
some other stuff, but i cant think straight
plum in the vacume pipes.

mounted the intercooler and been shaving the alt. got a nice bit of space down there now.

alt. dash looks great mate!

What's the blue thing on your oil filter?

oh thats the oil filter sandwich plate for the oil temp and pressure, could only get it in blue :( was hoping to keep it standered looking, but its hard to see so not to bad

If it works, i wouldn't worry about the colour.

Where'd you get it? I was thinking of fitting an oil temp gauge. Did you have to tap it yourself for a sensor or did it come ready to fit?

its an ebay jobby! it comes with four tap holes and blanking plugs, pop it on and off you go!

its been a long time, getting there.

just need the plugs and pop the oil drain on and i can start it! 50 psi oil pressure off the starter moter, oh and im waiting for the alt plug. im hoping to get it to santerpod!




oh, and oil breathers, i'll order them now!

what intercooler is it? and what are the dimensions? dont think i'd get that in a roundnose?

thanks for the link will have a measure up in the week... i bought an mr2 side mount that the same company sell its 10cm thick and will need to modify grill and valance to get it in...
